Mix Dry Ingredients

Cream the Butter & Sugar
In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the Bananas & Vanilla
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Don’t overmix—this will help keep the bread tender.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
