Keep the orchid cutting in a humid environment. You can cover the pot with a humidity dome or a clear plastic bag to help maintain humidity levels.
Mist the cutting lightly every day or two, ensuring it doesn’t get too wet (excess moisture can lead to rot).
Water sparingly and only when the medium feels dry, as orchids like to dry out between waterings.
Wait for Root Development:
After a few weeks, the cutting should begin developing roots. You’ll know it’s ready to be transplanted into a new pot once the roots are several inches long.
Once the roots have developed and the new plant seems stable, you can move it into its own pot with fresh orchid potting mix.
