Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks to the skillet.
Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side (depending on your preferred level of doneness). Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
2. Make the Cajun Shrimp Sauce
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and heat it over medium heat.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth (or white wine) to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck to the bottom of the skillet.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir, allowing the sauce to simmer and thicken for about 5 minutes. For a richer flavor, stir in 1 tablespoon of butter.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce to coat. Let everything simmer together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
3. Serve
Plate your cooked steaks and generously spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and added freshness.
