Steak Alfredo with Spaghetti & Marinara Swirl – A Flavorful Fusion Dish

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water, and set the pasta aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Steak
Season the steaks generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil and butter.
Once the butter has melted and starts to bubble, add the steaks. Sear for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or until your desired doneness is reached.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them thinly against the grain. Set aside.
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add a tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally, allowing the cream to reduce and thicken slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Continue stirring until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Optionally, add a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked spaghetti to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly. If necessary, add a bit of reserved pasta water to help the sauce coat the noodles.
Step 5: Prepare the Marinara Swirl
In a small bowl, warm the marinara sauce. You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat, if desired.
Step 6: Assemble the Dish
Plate the Alfredo-coated spaghetti and arrange the sliced steak on top.
Drizzle the marinara sauce in a swirl pattern over the pasta for a beautiful visual contrast and burst of flavor.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a fresh, vibrant finish.
