Spicy Cheddar Jalapeño Crisps: A Flavorful Snack with a Kick

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Lightly grease the parchment paper with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Crisps Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the beaten egg and mix until everything is well combined. The mixture should hold together but still be slightly crumbly.
Form the Crisps:

Using a tablespoon, scoop small amounts of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls. Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten them into thin discs. Be sure to space them at least 1 inch apart.
Bake the Crisps:

Bake the crisps for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy around the edges. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning, as they can brown quickly.
Cool and Serve:

Let the crisps cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This helps them crisp up even more.
Enjoy:

Once cooled, enjoy these Spicy Cheddar Jalapeño Crisps as a standalone snack or serve them with your favorite dipping sauce. They pair wonderfully with ranch, guacamole, or salsa.
