Spicy Cajun Shrimp & Steak Delight: A Bold and Flavorful Feast

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Steak
Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel and season both sides generously with Cajun seasoning, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, and salt.
Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet or heavy pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust the time based on your desired level of doneness).
During the last minute of cooking, add butter to the pan and spoon it over the steaks for extra flavor.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Step 3: Serve
Arrange the Cajun shrimp and sliced steak on a platter or individual plates.
Serve with your choice of steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or grilled vegetables for a complete meal. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon wedges on the side for added freshness.
