Sparkling Chicken – The Simple Trick to Make It So Delicious

Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to remove any moisture—this is key for a crispy skin.

Season the Chicken: Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spices evenly into the chicken to ensure it’s well-coated.

Sear the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. This step locks in the juices.

Bake the Chicken: After searing, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for fully cooked, tender chicken.

Finish with Butter and Herbs: Remove the chicken from the oven and immediately add a tablespoon of butter on top of each piece of chicken. Let it melt, creating a glossy, flavorful finish. Garnish with fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for a fragrant touch.
