Slow Cooker Beefy Tortellini

Brown the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and transfer the beef to the slow cooker.

Add the Sauce and Seasoning: To the slow cooker, add the pasta sauce, diced tomatoes (with their juices), Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together to combine.

Add Tortellini: Stir in the frozen tortellini. If you prefer a slightly saucier dish, add 1/2 cup of beef broth or water.

Cook on Low: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3–4 hours, or until the tortellini is tender and the flavors have melded together. If you prefer a quicker option, cook on high for 1.5–2 hours.

Serve: Once the tortellini is cooked, stir the mixture and taste for seasoning. Add more salt or pepper if needed.

Garnish: Serve hot, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh parsley or basil, if desired.
