Sizzling Meat Fajitas: A Flavorful Fiesta on Your Plate

Mix the spices: In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, pepper powder, paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, and hot pepper flakes. Mix them well and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables: Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced peppers and onions to the pan, along with half of the spice mixture. Stir constantly and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.

Cook the steak: In the same pan, add the sliced steak and the remaining spice mixture. Stir-fry the steak for 3-4 minutes, or until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Combine the ingredients: Return the cooked peppers and onions to the pan with the steak. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat the vegetables through.

Thicken the sauce (if needed): If the broth is too thin, mix in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the liquid thickens to your liking.

Final simmer: Reduce the heat and allow the meat fajitas to simmer for about 1 minute, letting the flavors meld and the sauce condense.

Serve and enjoy: Serve the sizzling meat fajitas hot, ideally with warm tortillas on the side. You can also add your favorite toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or shredded cheese.
