Ingredients (Serves 1):
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
A squeeze of fresh lemon (optional)
Instructions:
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup.
If desired, stir in a teaspoon of honey for sweetness and a squeeze of lemon for a burst of flavor.
