Shrimp Pasta with Creamy Mozzarella Sauce: A Luxurious, Cheesy Delight

In a large pot of salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water for later if needed.
Cook the Shrimp:

While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Mozzarella Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth.
Season the sauce with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Combine the Pasta and Shrimp:

Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet with the creamy mozzarella sauce. Toss everything together, making sure the pasta and shrimp are coated in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
Serve and Garnish:

Serve the shrimp pasta with a sprinkle of fresh basil or parsley for a burst of color and flavor. Enjoy immediately!
