Scarlet Velvet Strawberry Dream – A Decadent Cheesecake Masterpiece

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
Grease a 9-inch pan to ensure the cheesecake comes out easily after baking.
2. Prepare the Crust
In a medium bowl, mix the red velvet cake crumbs with the melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust layer.
3. Make the Cheesecake Filling
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with ¾ cup sugar using an electric mixer until smooth.
Add eggs, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, mixing until the mixture is creamy and fully combined.
Gently fold in the chopped fresh strawberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
4. Bake the Cheesecake
Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. You can check if it’s done by gently shaking the pan – the center should not be liquid.
5. Cool and Refrigerate
Allow the cheesecake to cool completely at room temperature.
Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours to let it set properly.
6. Caramelize the Topping
Just before serving, sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup sugar evenly over the top of the cheesecake.
Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar, creating a crispy, golden finish. Be careful to avoid burning the sugar.
7. Serve
Slice and serve your Scarlet Velvet Strawberry Dream cheesecake chilled, and enjoy this indulgent, fruity delight!
