Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add cauliflower florets and blanch for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and half the butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
Step 3: Cook the Mushrooms
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms release their moisture and begin to brown.
Step 4: Add the Cauliflower
Add the blanched cauliflower to the skillet with the remaining oil and butter. Sauté for another 7–10 minutes, allowing the cauliflower to get golden and slightly crisp on the edges.
Step 5: Season and Serve
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything well and serve warm.
