Savory Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles: A Quick and Flavorful Dinner

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti or lo mein noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Ground Beef:

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-6 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Add Garlic and Ginger:

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the Sauce:

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the beef.
Thicken the Sauce:

Add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine with Noodles:

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are coated in the sauce.
Finish and Garnish:

Stir in the chopped green onions. Garnish with sesame seeds and a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like it spicy.
