Savor the Crunch: Broccoli & Mushroom Stir Fry – A Flavorful, Healthy Delight

Prep the vegetables: If you haven’t already, chop the broccoli into florets and slice the mushrooms.
Heat the oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sauté the aromatics: Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir-fry the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, allowing them to soften slightly while retaining their crunch.
Add the mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms and continue stir-frying for another 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender and starting to brown.
Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), and red pepper flakes (if using).
Combine and stir: Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss everything together to coat evenly. Continue stir-frying for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the flavors to meld.
Serve: Remove the stir fry from the heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
