Sautéed Beef with Onions: A Tasty and Quick Dish

Prepare the Beef and Onions: Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips to ensure tenderness. Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic. Set everything aside.

Sauté the Onions: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions become soft and slightly caramelized. Remove the onions from the pan and set them aside.

Cook the Beef: In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the sliced beef in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your pan). Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned on all sides.

Combine and Season: Once the beef is cooked through, add the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika (if using), and black pepper. Adjust the seasoning with salt to taste. Return the caramelized onions to the pan and mix everything together.

Serve: Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro for a fresh burst of flavor. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty kick.

Enjoy: Enjoy this sautéed beef with onions as a main dish over a bed of steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or alongside sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
