Rich Banana Bread Recipe

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mix Wet Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they are fully incorporated.
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add the sour cream or Greek yogurt for added richness and moisture.
Combine Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can lead to dense banana bread.
If desired, fold in the walnuts or chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.
Bake the Banana Bread:

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.
If the top starts to brown too quickly, you can cover it loosely with aluminum foil and continue baking.
Cool and Serve:
