Quick and Easy Chicken Pâté for Toasts and Breads in 10 Minutes

Start with cooked chicken. If you have leftover chicken, it’s perfect for this recipe. Simply shred or chop it into small pieces. If you don’t have cooked chicken on hand, you can quickly cook chicken breasts or thighs, then chop or shred them.
Make the Pâté:

In a food processor, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
Pulse until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed. You may want to add a little more mayonnaise or a splash of water if you prefer a smoother consistency.
Season:

Taste the pâté and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, according to your preference. If you like a little extra tang, add a touch more lemon juice or mustard.
Serve:

Transfer the chicken pâté to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or your favorite type of bread. This pâté also pairs well with fresh vegetables like cucumber or celery.
