Pork Chop Supreme – Tender and Flavorful Comfort Food

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then sear them in the hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
2. Prepare the Gravy:
In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes, until softened.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix everything together and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Season the gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Simmer the Pork Chops:
Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the gravy over them.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Let the pork chops simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and tender (the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C)).
4. Serve:
Once the pork chops are fully cooked, remove them from the skillet and place them on a serving platter.
Spoon the creamy gravy and onions over the top of the pork chops.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
