Pepper Steak Pasta Delight: A Flavorful Fusion of Savory Beef and Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water, and set it aside.
Step 2: Cook the Steak
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
Add the thinly sliced steak to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping the steak halfway through to ensure it’s browned on both sides. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.
Step 3: Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until they are softened and slightly caramelized.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, until fragrant.
Step 4: Prepare the Sauce
Stir in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add the beef broth (or water) and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
If you prefer a creamier sauce, stir in the heavy cream and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Step 5: Combine the Steak and Pasta
Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables and sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.
Add the cooked pasta to the pan, tossing to combine. If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
Cook everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Step 6: Serve
Plate the pasta and steak mixture, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve immediately, and enjoy the flavorful, satisfying Pepper Steak Pasta Delight!
