Pan-Seared Salmon with Creamy Florentine Sauce: A Restaurant-Quality Meal at Home!

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Sear the Salmon:

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Florentine Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Stir in the fresh spinach and Italian herbs, cooking until the spinach wilts.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve:

Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over the top.
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
