Omelette in a Bag, Cream Cheese Flavor! A Dietetic Dish

Grab a Ziploc bag (preferably freezer-grade) and crack the eggs into it. Seal the bag, making sure to remove as much air as possible to avoid any mess during cooking.

Mix the Eggs:
Gently squish the bag with your hands, mixing the eggs together. Make sure they’re well beaten, so you get a fluffy omelette texture.

Add Cream Cheese:
Add the softened cream cheese into the bag with the beaten eggs. Seal the bag again and squish it to mix the cream cheese evenly throughout the eggs. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add Optional Ingredients:
If you’re adding any veggies or protein (like cooked chicken, turkey, or bacon), toss them into the bag and squish again to combine.

Boil the Bag:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, carefully lower the bag into the water and cook for about 10-15 minutes. The eggs will cook through and become soft and creamy with the cream cheese.

Serve:
Once cooked, carefully remove the bag from the water and let it cool slightly before cutting it open. Slide the omelette out onto a plate, cut it into slices, and enjoy!
