No Eggs, Easy Chocolate Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch (20 cm) square or round baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.

3. Add Wet Ingredients:
Add the vegetable oil, vinegar, vanilla extract, and water to the dry ingredients. Stir with a spatula or whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

4. Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

5. Cool the Cake:
Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

6. Make the Optional Glaze:
In a small saucepan or microwave, melt the chocolate chips, milk (or cream), and butter together. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
