Never put these plants on the windowsill: they will die in a few days.

Peace lilies enjoy bright, indirect light. Exposure to direct sunlight from a windowsill can cause their leaves to scorch and wilt, making them unhealthy and weak over time.

Begonias
Begonias are sensitive to both extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. On a windowsill, the heat and light can damage the plant, especially in hot weather, causing leaf burn and stunted growth.

Coleus
Coleus plants love bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight, particularly on a hot windowsill, can burn the leaves and cause them to wilt quickly.

Tropical Plants (like Dracaena or Spider Plants)
Many tropical plants prefer lower light levels and can suffer in the harsh sun. A windowsill can expose them to high temperatures, leading to dried leaves and unhealthy growth.

If you’re unsure about where to place your plants, opt for a spot with bright, indirect light or a more controlled environment like a shelf away from direct sunlight.
