After simmering, remove the pot from the heat. Let it cool slightly, then strain the mixture to remove any solid bits, leaving just the infused liquid.
Add Honey:
Stir in the honey once the liquid has cooled to a lukewarm temperature (hot water can destroy the beneficial properties of honey).
Store and Use:
Pour the liquid into a glass jar or bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
Take one tablespoon of this mixture each morning on an empty stomach for best results.
