My Famous Cream Cheese Pie: A Velvety and Irresistible Treat

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a glass to smooth it out.
Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then set it aside to cool.
Make the Cream Cheese Filling:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Use an electric mixer for best results.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract and lemon juice (if using) until fully incorporated.
Assemble and Bake:

Pour the cream cheese filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture.
Add Toppings and Serve:

Before serving, top the pie with fresh berries, fruit compote, or a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce, if desired. Slice and enjoy!
