Moist Meatballs: The Secret to Making Them Juicy and Tasty!

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or beef and pork mix), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands or a spoon until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the Meatballs: Using your hands, form the mixture into evenly sized meatballs (about 1-1.5 inches in diameter). Try not to overwork the mixture to keep the meatballs tender.

Cook the Meatballs: Heat a few tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each batch for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meatballs are golden brown on all sides.

Simmer in Sauce (Optional): If you’re serving the meatballs with marinara or another sauce, add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and let them simmer for 20-30 minutes. This will keep them moist and infuse them with even more flavor.

Serve: Once the meatballs are cooked through and juicy, remove them from the skillet or sauce and serve immediately with pasta, on a sub roll, or as an appetizer.
