Mexican Shrimp Cocktail: A Refreshing and Zesty Seafood Delight

If using raw shrimp, cook them in boiling salted water for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and set aside to cool. If using pre-cooked shrimp, simply thaw and chop into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare the Cocktail Sauce:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, lime juice, orange juice, and hot sauce. Stir until smooth.
Add Fresh Ingredients:

To the sauce, add the diced tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, avocado, and cilantro. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients, being careful not to mash the avocado.
Combine Shrimp and Sauce:

Add the cooked shrimp to the bowl and mix until the shrimp is well-coated with the sauce.
Chill and Serve:

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the shrimp cocktail for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled in individual glasses or bowls, garnished with additional cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
