Make These Chocolate Brownies and Be Amazed by Their Texture!

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix wet ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until everything is fully incorporated.

Add dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can affect the texture.

Fold in chocolate chips:
If using chocolate chips, gently fold them into the batter. This will give your brownies that extra burst of chocolate in every bite!

Bake the brownies:
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter). Keep in mind that baking times may vary slightly depending on your oven, so start checking around the 25-minute mark.

Cool and cut:
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
