Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat, if necessary.
Make the Garlic Sauce:
Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the beef and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream, beef broth, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer. Let the sauce cook for 3-5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
Combine the Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy beef sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve:
Serve the creamy beef pasta in bowls, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese if desired. For added richness, stir in a tablespoon of butter before serving.
