Louisiana Chicken Pasta – A Spicy and Creamy Cajun Delight!

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Cajun Chicken
While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Once the chicken is cool enough to handle, slice it into strips.
Step 3: Make the Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
Add the flour (if using) and stir for about 1 minute to create a roux.
Gradually add the heavy cream and chicken broth, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Stir in the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Combine Everything
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Add the sliced chicken and toss again to combine, heating everything through.
Step 5: Serve
Plate the creamy Cajun pasta and top with freshly chopped parsley.
Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
