Lemon on the Broom: A Strong Ally Against Stubborn Dirt

Cut a fresh lemon in half. You can use the juice or the whole fruit, depending on how much cleaning you need to do.

Rub the Broom with Lemon:

Take one of the lemon halves and gently rub it over the bristles of your broom. Squeeze slightly to release some of the juice as you go. This will infuse the broom with lemon juice, which can help clean floors as you sweep.

Sweep the Floor:

Begin sweeping your floors as usual. The lemon juice on the broom’s bristles will help lift dirt, grime, and dust, leaving your floors cleaner and fresher. The acidity of the lemon will also help break down stuck-on dirt, making your job easier.

Optional: Add Baking Soda:

For even tougher stains or dirt, sprinkle a little baking soda onto the floor and then sweep with the lemon-coated broom. The combination of lemon and baking soda provides an extra cleaning boost.
