Lemon Garlic Butter Fish – A Simple and Flavorful Delight!

Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2. Cook the Fish:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the fish fillets to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fish from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant and golden (be careful not to burn the garlic).
Add the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest to the pan, stirring well to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
4. Finish the Dish:
Return the cooked fish fillets to the skillet, spooning some of the garlic butter sauce over the top. Let the fish soak in the sauce for about 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
5. Serve:
Garnish the fish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Serve the fish with a side of vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
