Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the slider buns on a baking sheet, and set them aside. If you like, you can slice the buns in half if they are not pre-sliced.
Prepare the Beef Patties:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined (don’t overwork the meat). Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into mini patties.
Cook the Patties:
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they’re browned and cooked through. If you like your burgers well-done, cook for an additional minute per side. Once done, set the patties aside.
Assemble the Sliders:
Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Top each with a cooked beef patty, then place a slice of cheese on top of each patty. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese, pressing down gently.
Butter the Buns:
Brush the tops of the buns with the melted butter. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top for extra flavor and texture.
Bake the Sliders:
Bake the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown and slightly toasted.
Serve:
Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Optionally, serve with ketchup, mustard, pickles, or your favorite condiments.
