Apply a generous amount of toothpaste to a damp microfiber cloth.
Rub the headlight in small circles, applying moderate pressure.
Rinse with water and wipe clean.
This works wonders on mild fogginess caused by surface oxidation.
2. Baking Soda & Vinegar Scrub (Outside)
Mix 2 parts baking soda with 1 part vinegar to form a paste.
Use a soft cloth to apply the mixture to the headlight.
Gently scrub and then rinse with warm water.
Ideal for stubborn yellowing or cloudiness.
3. Dish Soap & Warm Water (Initial Wash)
Mix a few drops of dish soap in warm water.
Wash the headlights thoroughly to remove surface dirt and grime before deeper cleaning.
Rinse and dry before moving on to other methods.
4. Cleaning the Inside (If Moisture or Dirt Is Visible)
Carefully remove the headlight cover using a screwdriver (check your car manual).
Wipe the inside with a damp microfiber cloth and allow it to air dry completely.
Replace the cover securely before driving.
5. Vinegar Spray (Quick Maintenance)
Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water.
Spritz onto headlights weekly and wipe clean to maintain shine and prevent future buildup.
