If You Have Potatoes and Some Meat, Must Try This Recipe! Everyone Will Be Amazed.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.

Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes or until they are tender but still hold their shape. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and green peppers. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, thyme, and chili flakes to taste.

Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.

3. Layer the Dish:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a baking dish, layer the cooked potatoes at the bottom.

Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly over the potatoes.

Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese generously on top.

4. Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and slightly golden on top.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
