I can’t keep these ‘Old-Fashioned Ginger Snaps’ on the table—they’re too good to last more than a day

Ingredients
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and molasses, mixing until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
