Hurry Up… Enjoy Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shells! A Heavenly Recipe for Pasta Lovers

Begin by cooking the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Filling:

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, and dried Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.

Stuff the Shells:

Take each cooked pasta shell and carefully stuff it with the ricotta and spinach mixture. Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish.

Prepare the Baking Dish:

Pour half of the marinara sauce over the stuffed shells in the baking dish. Spread the sauce evenly to cover all the shells.

Bake:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbling.

Serve:

Once baked, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the top to lightly brown. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
