In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. Add just enough water to form a paste.
Alternatively, you can use a spray bottle to mix equal parts white vinegar and water. This solution can be used as a natural degreaser.
Apply the Cleaning Solution:
For the paste: Use a microfiber cloth or soft sponge to apply the paste to the greasy areas of your kitchen cabinets. Gently scrub the surface in circular motions, focusing on areas with the most grease buildup.
For the vinegar solution: Spray the mixture directly onto the greasy cabinet surfaces and allow it to sit for a minute or two to break down the grease.
Scrub and Wipe:
Use a soft sponge or cloth to scrub the surfaces gently. The baking soda paste will help lift the grease, while the vinegar solution helps to dissolve it.
Be cautious with painted or delicate wood finishes to avoid any scratching. Always use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
Wipe Away Residue:
After scrubbing, use a clean microfiber cloth dampened with warm water to wipe away the baking soda paste or vinegar solution.
Make sure to wipe the cabinets thoroughly to remove all residue and leave a clean surface behind.
Dry and Shine (Optional):
For added shine and protection, you can rub a little olive oil or furniture polish onto the cleaned surfaces using a soft cloth. This will give the wood a nice luster and protect it from future buildup.
