How to Make Steel and Aluminum Pans Shine Like New: The Easiest Trick

Create a Paste: Mix equal parts of baking soda and water to form a thick paste. For added cleaning power, you can also use vinegar or lemon juice instead of water for the paste.

Apply to the Pan: Use a soft cloth or sponge to apply the paste to the surface of the steel or aluminum pan. Focus on any areas with grease or stains.

Let It Sit: Allow the paste to sit on the pan for 10-15 minutes to loosen any dirt or grime.

Scrub Gently: After the paste has sat, gently scrub the surface with a non-abrasive sponge. For tougher spots, you can add a little more baking soda and scrub with a bit of water.

Rinse and Dry: Rinse the pan with warm water to remove all residue, and then dry it with a soft cloth to avoid water spots.

Polish: For extra shine, lightly buff the pan with a dry cloth after it’s completely clean.
