How to Grow Pineapple at Home: A Step-by-Step Guide for a Surprising Harvest

There are two methods to root your pineapple:

Water Method: Place the exposed stem in a glass of water. Change the water every 2–3 days. Roots should start growing in about two weeks.

Soil Method: Plant the dried pineapple top directly in well-draining soil. Keep the soil slightly moist, and roots should develop within 2–4 weeks.

Step 3: Planting in a Pot

Use a 10–12 inch pot with good drainage.

Fill the pot with a mixture of soil, sand, and compost.

Plant the rooted pineapple top, ensuring the leaves remain above soil level.
