How to get rid of fleas, ants and cockroaches from home for good

Seal Cracks and Crevices: Cockroaches can enter through tiny cracks in walls, doors, and windows. Seal these areas with caulk or weather stripping.

Clean Thoroughly: Cockroaches are attracted to food and grease, so clean your kitchen thoroughly. Wipe down counters, store food in airtight containers, and regularly take out the trash.

Bait Traps: Use cockroach bait stations that attract and kill roaches. These can be placed in areas where roaches are likely to hide, like under sinks and behind appliances.

Boric Acid: Sprinkle boric acid in cracks, under appliances, and along baseboards. Roaches will walk through it and ingest it, which will kill them over time.

Essential Oils: Certain essential oils, like peppermint or eucalyptus, are natural repellents for cockroaches. Mix a few drops in a spray bottle with water and spray areas where roaches are present.

Insecticidal Dust or Sprays: If natural methods don’t work, you may need to resort to insecticides. Choose one that’s safe for indoor use and apply it carefully in places where roaches are hiding.

Preventive Measures:
Regular Cleaning: Clean your home regularly, particularly the kitchen and areas where pets roam. This helps prevent pests from finding food.

Keep Food Sealed: Store food in airtight containers, and don’t leave crumbs or dirty dishes out overnight.

Fix Leaks: Cockroaches and ants are drawn to moisture. Fix leaky faucets and pipes, and avoid leaving standing water in the kitchen or bathroom.

Seal Entry Points: Inspect your home for cracks, gaps, and holes. Seal them with caulk or weather stripping to prevent pests from entering.

Natural Repellents:
Essential Oils: Many pests dislike essential oils. Peppermint oil, citronella, eucalyptus, and tea tree oil can help repel ants, cockroaches, and fleas. Mix a few drops with water and spray around your home.

Diatomaceous Earth: This natural powder works for a variety of pests, including ants, fleas, and cockroaches. It dehydrates and kills them when they come into contact with it.

Chemical Solutions:
If natural methods aren’t working, consider using insecticide sprays, gels, or bait traps specifically designed for the pests you’re targeting.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully, especially when using chemicals in areas where pets or children are present.

By following these steps and being consistent with your efforts, you can eliminate fleas, ants, and cockroaches from your home and keep them from coming back.
