How to Clean and Restore Bathroom Faucets: A Simple, Natural Solution!

Prepare the Surface: Before you begin, make sure the faucet is dry. Use a soft cloth or towel to wipe away any excess water on the faucet. This will help you get better contact with the cleaning ingredients.

Apply Lemon Juice: Cut the lemon in half and rub the cut side onto the faucet, especially where you see mineral deposits or soap scum buildup. The acidity of the lemon helps break down grime and dissolve limescale. Allow the lemon juice to sit on the faucet for 5-10 minutes.

Use Baking Soda: After letting the lemon juice sit, sprinkle a small amount of bicarbonate (baking soda) onto the lemon juice-covered faucet. The combination of lemon juice and baking soda will create a fizzing reaction, which helps lift stains and deposits from the surface.

Scrub with a Sponge: Using a hard sponge (but not too abrasive), gently scrub the faucet in circular motions. Focus on areas with buildup, paying special attention to the faucet handles, spout, and around the base where grime tends to collect. Be careful not to scratch the finish.

Rinse with White Vinegar: To further help dissolve mineral deposits, soak a cloth in white vinegar and wrap it around areas with heavy buildup. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Afterward, rinse the faucet thoroughly with water to remove any remaining vinegar or baking soda residue.

Buff for Shine: After cleaning, dry the faucet with a soft cloth or towel. If you want to add an extra shine, buff the faucet gently in circular motions with a microfiber cloth.

Repeat if Necessary: If the faucet still looks a bit dull or there are stubborn stains remaining, repeat the process once more for best results.
