Fill your burnt pan with enough water to cover the burnt area. Add a tablespoon of dish soap if desired. Let it soak for 15-20 minutes to loosen up any debris or food particles.
Boil a vinegar and baking soda solution:
Pour 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water into the pan. Bring it to a boil on the stove. Once boiling, sprinkle 1 cup of baking soda into the water. The mixture will fizz and bubble—this is a good sign, as it’s helping to break down the burnt residue.
Let it sit:
After the fizzing has subsided, remove the pan from the heat and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. The baking soda and vinegar solution will help lift the burnt stains.
Scrub away the stains:
Using a scrub brush or a sponge with an abrasive side, gently scrub the pan, focusing on the areas with the most burn marks. If needed, use a piece of aluminum foil to scrub stubborn spots—its rough surface works like sandpaper to help remove the stains.
Rinse and dry:
Once the stains are gone, rinse the pan with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth. Your pan should now be free of burnt marks and look like new!
