Homemade Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza

Grease a 9-inch deep-dish pizza pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Roll out one portion of the dough to fit the bottom of the pan, making sure it comes up the sides of the pan.
Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the bottom of the dough. (If you’re adding pepperoni, layer it over the cheese.)
Pour the prepared sauce over the cheese, spreading it evenly.
Roll out the second portion of dough and place it over the sauce, crimping the edges to seal.
Brush the top crust with the softened butter.
4. Bake the Pizza:
Bake the pizza for 30–40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Serve with a side of garlic bread and a fresh salad for a complete meal.
You can customize the toppings based on your preferences—adding mushrooms, sausage, or bell peppers is always a great choice.
