Prepare the Garlic:
Crush or finely chop the garlic to release the allicin. This activates the beneficial compounds in garlic.
You can also gently heat a bit of olive oil in a pan and add the garlic to infuse it for 2-3 minutes. This is optional, but the oil can provide a soothing effect when applied to the ear.
Apply the Garlic:
You can place the crushed or chopped garlic in a small piece of cloth or gauze and place it next to the ear (not directly in the ear canal) for a few minutes.
Alternatively, if using infused garlic oil, put a few drops of the oil around the outer ear, making sure not to get it into the ear canal directly.
Leave it for a While:
Allow the garlic to sit for about 15-20 minutes. You should feel a gentle warmth and possible relief from the discomfort.
Never leave garlic in your ear for too long, as it could irritate sensitive skin.
Repeat as Needed:
You can repeat this process up to two times a day, but always make sure to test a small area of your skin to ensure you don’t have any allergic reactions.
