Heavenly No-Bake Chocolate Orange Dessert: A Decadent Treat in Every Bite

In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter. Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Stir in the orange zest and orange juice for that refreshing citrus flavor. Set the chocolate mixture aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the Creamy Layer:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese), whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. If you’re using whipped cream, be sure to gently fold it into the mixture so it stays light and airy.
Assemble the Dessert:

If you’re using a crust, press a layer of crushed graham crackers or cookies into the bottom of serving glasses or a tart pan. You can also skip the crust for a lighter version.
Spoon the creamy mascarpone mixture into the serving dishes, smoothing it out to create an even layer.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top, spreading it gently to cover the creamy layer.
Chill the Dessert:

Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2-3 hours, or until the layers are firm and set. For best results, let it chill overnight.
Serve and Garnish:

Once set, garnish the dessert with additional orange zest, chocolate shavings, or even some candied orange peel for a beautiful finish. Serve chilled and enjoy!
