Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Don’t over-mix; a few lumps are okay!
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
