Heavenly Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle: A Decadent Dessert Experience

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the box or your homemade chocolate cake recipe.
Prepare the cake batter and bake as directed. Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting it into small cubes.
Make the Chocolate Cheesecake Layer:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring it’s fully combined and light.
Stir in the melted chocolate until smooth, creating a rich, chocolate-flavored cheesecake layer.
Make the Chocolate Ganache Layer:

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until the chocolate is fully melted and the ganache is smooth.
Assemble the Trifle:

In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer the components starting with the chocolate cake cubes at the bottom.
Spoon a layer of the chocolate cheesecake mixture on top of the cake, followed by a drizzle of chocolate ganache.
Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of cheesecake.
Chill:

Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the layers to set and the flavors to meld together.
Serve:

Before serving, top the trifle with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder for a luxurious finish.
