In a large saucepan, combine the ground oats and whole oats. Add the milk and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add the Fruits:
Once the oats have absorbed most of the milk, add the grated apple and mashed banana to the saucepan. Stir well to incorporate the fruits into the oats.
Spice it Up:
Add the cinnamon (and honey or maple syrup, if desired) to the mixture. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the oats to reach a creamy consistency.
Serve:
Once the oatmeal is thick and creamy, remove it from the heat and pour into bowls. Add your favorite toppings like nuts, seeds, or fresh berries for extra flavor and texture.
